10,000 Hours


(10/05/22) – [Day 020] – Wednesday – I had my first person join the WSS LI group. I think I want to get it to 10,000.

(10/04/22) – [Day 019] – Tuesday – I have added over 10 connections on LI in the supplements space. None have opted in to the group yet. I need to find a way to create a thriving group. I will figure it out.

(10/03/22) – [Day 018] – Monday. I like the direction the automated LinkedIn system is going. I added a bunch of contacts and had some direct messages with a couple. I scheduled a time to meet with a manufacturer this week.

(10/01/22) – [Day 016] – I’m thinking of highlighting supplement brands via either oral interview or written. I think this will open up a lot of connections for me.

(09/30/22) – [Day 015] – I set up an automated system to connect with people on LinkedIn who I think would be good connections. It has been nice to see the notifications coming in of connections.

(09/29/22) – [Day 014] – Thursday – It has been two weeks since I have started. I felt I did make some good progress today. I created the header image and profile image for the LI group that I created. I also published the first post. I think I’m going to be able to get a lot of people joining the group, especially once I start adding a lot of good content with audio interviews etc.

(09/28/22) – [Day 013] – Wednesday – Need to figure out what my deliberate practice is going to be.

(9/27/22) – [Day 012] – Tuesday – I had some ideas about how to build the LinkedIn group. I want to keep it tight and lots of value. I think if I ask service providers to publish small bits of content it will help them and also the supplement entrepreneurs.

(9/26/22) – [Day 011] – Monday – My ADD brain. I bought wesellsupplements.io today. I woke up a little disconcerted with the concept of isellsupplements.com. It isn’t horrible but it seemed like saying we sell supplements is a better fit for my target market. Who knows, I may change my mind a couple times before tomorrow morning.

(9/25/22) – [Day 010] – Sunday – Didn’t work on the business or my skills today.

(9/24/22) – [Day 009] – I started Russel Brunson’s 5 day lead challenge again, this time for iSS. I’m looking forward to the upcoming week where I can test out some of my ideas.

(9/23/22) – [Day 008] – Time spent in deliberate practice today = 0. I created my group on LinkedIn. I think this has the potential to be big as I can reach out to both the entrepreneurs and the solution providers through LI and invite them to the group. The title speaks directly to them so it seems if they are on LinkedIn they would want to be in the group. Not sure how to curate it all and everything. My gut tells me I’m going in the right direction and I could be sitting on acres of diamonds.

(9/22/22) – [Day 007] – I’m moving too slow. I need to pick what I’m doing and move forward. Even if just a little bit. I need to see the progress though. And I’m not deliberately practicing anything. Doing these daily check ins is important for me because I can’t hide from myself.

(9/21/22) – [Day 006] – Wednesday – Remember that critical decision I made on Monday? Well, I’m wavering now as to whether I want to go that direction. I started reading Ryan Moran’s book 12 Months to 1 Million. It is helping me think through some things.

(9/20/22) – [Day 005] – Tuesday – I’m listening to a podcast between Ryan Moran and Alex Hormozi on the Capatilist podcast. I resonate with Alex as well. He talks about one of the issues with many small entrepreneurs is they try to have three pans on the stove boiling to see which one will boil first and then they will run with it. They would be better off picking one and making it work. I find myself currently in that situation. I have two big projects that I’m “working” on but not really making good progress with either one.

(9/19/22) – [Day 004] – Monday – I made a monumental decision today about one of the businesses. I have been wrestling with which target market to go after. I have been nervous about targeting too small of a market. There are a bunch of other reasons but I decided to go for it anyway. So tomorrow I’m launching isellsupplements.com.

(9/18/22) – [Day 003] – Sunday – I think most Sunday’s I will take off of my deliberate practice.

(9/17/22) – [Day 002] – Saturday. Not much today in regards to deliberate practice. I need to come up with a specific plan as to what I’m going to count towards deliberate practice.

(9/16/22) – [Day 001] -Spent time deciding what my target market should be. As Ryan Moran calls it my “who.” Who are the people that I want to serve? I reached out to 5 more of my Dream 100 via LinkedIn. I think collecting a group of at least 100 people who have already congregated my dream customer (my who) could be a big deal. I struggle to figure out how to keep in contact with them and to serve them.
